It's all in the detail...

It probably comes as no surprise that the most beautiful homes have that something extra. Maybe it's gorgeous windows, and if they come complete with transoms, more's the better. Or timber floors with a patina that only gets better with age. And it seems to me the ones I'm drawn to are invariably white, and of course I know I'm not alone there. So what better way to start the week off on the right foot, than with some Monday morning eye candy. Enjoy!

  5. These are all beautiful. I love all the white but I often wonder if it's a fad right now in decorating. Do you think?

  14. hi kerri! wood floors- not only aesthetically pleasing, but it is a lot easier to clear off dirt on the floor that you can't see in carpets.i would love to have a white floor one day... enjoyed the spectacular view! have a great week! verbena cottage

  15. Oh Kerri,
I suppose if you forded me, I could live in them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha.
They are all amazing. I love the hall in #3 and look at that staircase. The outside shot of #4 is stunning. Oh desr. I'm all envious now.... although, I think that Stephenie from Decorating Addiction could be right. When we first had a house (many years ago !!) we were stripping everything back to the wood and now, we are painting everything white !! I could put money on it that wood will be back in fashion in a few years !! Meanwhile, I love the white. I'm a sucker for fashion !! XXXX
