Here's a sneak peek:
as you can see, there's still painting to be done around the skirting
from this...
...to this!
I can't tell you how much restraint is required not to throw all the doors back on right now. But it's raining today, and I do have some concerns that the paint isn't quite cured enough (but shh, don't tell hubby or I'll get the "I told you so" speech!). But I'm so in love it's not funny.
Patience Kerri, patience! Right, no more teasers until it's all back together again, I think promise. Truly :-)

What a difference! I hope you have pulled a comfy chair into the kitchen so you can sit and stare fondly at it, cup in hand.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful Keri! It is goin to look amazing! It really makes everything so bright and clean doesnt it? I painted my kitchen cabinets white last year and I dont regret it at all. They still look so fresh and clean.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you I could jump up and down! P-R-E-T-T-Y!!!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Magnifique, no? You've done it again bel artiste. I can only imagine the hard work required to paint all your cabinetry. You won't know yourself when you've put them all back in and you feel like you have a brand new kitchen. I wanted to paint our old kitchen before we ever thought about renovating but the routing in the doors just wasn't a nice shape. Yours have a lovely shape, they look fantastic..Rxx
ReplyDeleteHi Kerri! How exciting for you - it's amazing what a difference a lick of paint can do. Can't wait to see the whole lot!!
ReplyDeleteoooooh you are such a girl after my own heart- i jumped straight on your list of 'followers' and am putting you on by blog list so i remember to check in and see the finished kitchen!! my husband turns a blind eye to my moving things, painting things etc and then tells me how much he loves them when they are finished as he knows its the only way i can live- it makes me soo happy...
ReplyDeleteglad i found you
melissa :)
Ah, looks so clean and crisp! Amazing what a paint job can do. Can't wait to see more! (Yes, you are all that, and tell them so repeatedly!)
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Hi, I've just come across your blog and LOVED what you did with painting your kitchen! can I ask what paint colour and type you painted with and was it handpainted or sprayed? Great job! J
