Maria recently posted these stunning pics of her own cabinet (note to self - must try to take better pics, Maria always does such a great job with hers) and it was just perfect for what I had in mind. She painted the interior a combination of white and pale grey, which gives just the right, not-too-perfect finish to complement the cabinet's original patina.

Hi Kerri, that sounds fantastic. Oh I can't wait to see it. The outside actually looks pretty good as is, so maybe you just need to paint the inside? It is hard to tell from photos.. Enjoy your weekend painting!

I drooled over Maria's cupboard when I saw it the other day. Yours is going to look brilliant as well! I really am lusting after a piece of blue furniture! Can't wait to see how yours goes :)

Hi Kerri, I can see its going to look just gorgeous; I have been looking for that exact shade of blue for a mirror and something else I picked up today. Its so soft and pretty against the white.
