When I first came across
Pinterest, to say I was underwhelmed was a bit of an understatement. It seemed like yet another thing to add to the must-have-if-you're-serious-about-your-online-presence....and all too much like hard work. But then, I spent a bit of time navigating through and found that, regardless of what it was originally designed for, it's an absolutely brilliant way of collating and storing all of those inspiration pics - and even better, it links to where they were found. In other words, it's amazing. So now I'm hooked, and there's so much fabulousness on there, I can't begin to tell you. So I'll just show you. Much better that way.
Just a few from my boards
But don't take my word for it. Check it out for yourself. Head on over and check out my
pins, and from there, who know's what you'll find. But be warned....it's a little addictive. Ok, a lot addictive. But do it anyway....you know you want to.
It is a bit addictive. I had a look at A-M's the other day, spent a bit of time there! I'll have a look at yours. And maybe start my own! Your work is looking beautiful as always. Rachaelxx
ReplyDeleteLove all the gorgeous images!
ReplyDeleteI've peeked at Pinterest a few times & love it but do I need another addiction to add to blogging which already takes up aaalll of my spare time and a good chunk of my working week! Now have 3 because I just launched a new blog this week http://countrystylechic.blogspot.com if you feel like stopping by.
Can't wait to see the piece you're doing for Frances - we meet up for lunch & a shopping day last month & she filled me in!

ReplyDeleteOh that porch, that porch. I pinned it! A-M xx
ReplyDeleteHi Kerri. I must be channelling you. I too was completely underwhelmed when I first visited Pinterest. Everyone kept telling me "you have got to get on there!" though I just did not get the fuss. However lately I have found some time to peruse it in more detail and I have to agree; it is an awesome resource for keeping track of inspiration and ideas. The only problem now is that it seems a bit overwhelming. There is just to much great stuff on there.

Oh I know I want to....but I'm resisting. I'm only just finding time to post the occasional blog entry and read up on the blogs that I love visiting. I just know I'll get swept in and won't come back out!

ReplyDeleteIt is beyond addictive... i try to only play on my iPhone or else I could get stuck for hours
ReplyDeleteIt is SSSSOOOO addictive - I spend way too much time on Pintrest! But then, there are so many inspirational pictures and projects and recipes and ..... oh its all too much!! I love it. It saves adding everything to my computers 'favourites' and is great because it links back to the original sites.
ReplyDeleteYou make a good case and I've been toying with checking it out, but I'm worried about the time-drain.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get the point of it for ages. Now I love it. I just had to pin those lovely last chippy doors, divine!
ReplyDeleteI was the same as you, and I bet so many others were, but like you, I too am now an addict. It's fab. That's all. ;-))
ReplyDeleteYes- I too am hooked after initially being a little sceptical!! HOOKED!!!
