Rough Linen Apartment Therapy

One of the loveliest bloggers, Tricia Rose, has had her business, Rough Linen, shortlisted on the Apartment Therapy Design Showcase, which is huge! I can only imagine how excited she must be, and so I'd love to spread the word for her. Here's what Apartment Therapy has to say about the showcase:

'This summer we're celebrating the best in design for the home. We're taking submissions from independent and student designers from around the world and letting our readers vote on who they think has the best design. There's also a panel of august judges (no pun intended). Two winners will win $20,000 in targeted advertising placements on our sites to help launch their careers.'

What an amazing opportunity, so if you'd like to check out her entry, pop over to Apartment Therapy.  Here's a little taste of her beautiful linen, which was inspired by her great grandmother's vintage pillow slip:

Isn't her work beautiful? You can also visit her website here, and her blog here.

Good luck Tricia Rose, I have my fingers crossed for you!

  1. Yes, good luck Tricia Rose! What beautiful work!

  2. I have been searching and searching for a linen throw to sit on the end of my bed after my bedroom makeover. It was such a coincidence to see your post about this today - a little out of my price range maybe though absolutely beautiful and deservedly so. I'll keep searching...and thinking of thrifty ways to recreate something similar!

  3. Gooness me - how very exciting! Her wares look beautiful!

  4. Wow, thank you Kerri! You are so right, this is such an exciting time - when I go to bed at night I pat my duvet and think "yet THIS is what it's all about!"

  5. That linen is superb isn't it? I especially love the valance.

  6. Beautiful!! I am in love the curtains!!!

  7. I love Linen, plan to use it through out the house.
Recollections / Early Settler shop has this amazing big chaise lounge with linen slip covers.
I bought a beautiful linen coverlet on our last trip to Sydney, planning to pair it with a white one given to me by my Mother in law that was hand made in Italy as a wedding gift, and has spent the last 60 yrs in storage, never been used. Will be posting all of the "goodies" when the house is built.
    Have a great day

  8. I adore the bedhead... Where is that from? Amazing. I'm a follower. Happy to have found your blog. Love it. Pruxxx
