Officially.In.Love

...with this house. What's not to love - plantation shutters, relaxed, beachy vibe, verandahs....need I go on?

Isn't it lovely? I'm always drawn to this style of architecture, but I think my pining for summer is making it even more appealing at the moment. Bring on the warm days, I say!

I'll be back tomorrow with a few new paintings I've been working on, so I'll catch you guys then.
Enjoy your day,

  2. I love that screened in verandah. How nice would it be to spend a few hours there. Only 10 degrees here today so I'm completely with you on the summer wishing. Can't wait to see your paintings!

  4. WOW!! It's gorgeous! Love those big verandahs that create almost 'outdoor rooms'. Would be such a lovely spot to sit and soak in the surroundings. Hope you have a lovely day x

  5. Love at first sight indeed! So beautiful. Thanks for your very helpful comments about our bathroom 'dilema'. I'm sure everyone goes through it! On your advice, I'm off to seek out one of your earlier posts about your bathroom renovation. Thanks Kerri.

  7. Hi Kerri .. I must be pining for summer too as this house just makes me say 'ooohhhh, aaahhhh' and it's not my usual house style I love. Must be the plantings and the porch and the doors into the kitchen, and the shutters .. oh, I best stop. I'm drooling. Look forward to seeing your new art tomorrow (-: (oh, and your outdoor chairs look great like that, go for it and take another pic)

  12. Hi Kerri,
This, to me, is perfection. I would be in 7th heaven if I lived there. These are my favourite Australian houses. Just beautiful. We have plantation shutters in our two front rooms and they were the best thing that we ever bought. I love them. XXXX

  13. Yes, that is a lovely home Kerri. It even has a fan inspiration shot for me! I also love that porch swing and could see myself sitting there with a magazine and glass of wine! Nice post.
