I don't know about you, but now the kids are back at school, I could do with a holiday! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love school holidays, but they can be exhausting. So when I saw this little gem, it looked like the perfect place to relax and recharge. Oh, and the fact that one of the guesthouses is called 'Driftwood House' doesn't hurt either. With a choice of accomodation styles, there's something for everyone:
this design was inspired by fishing cottages on the Danish coast
or choose Little Palm guesthouse for a taste of luxury
fresh, bright and breezy - perfect
love this kitchen!
or maybe you'd prefer an authentic American Airstream caravan?
drinks on the verandah anyone?
So, what do you think - looks rather appealing, doesn't it? I'll see you there!
Have a great week,
I'll bring the martinis!
ReplyDeleteOh I just knew it had to be Byron Bay. Love that place! And love the look of that accommodation as well...better start saving!!
ReplyDeleteKerri you beat me too it ! I had my photos of this gorgeous spot all ready to post on Friday. We had been planning on going there in the holidays, not to far from home, but alas it was booked out. Great minds think alike...........

ReplyDeleteI'd love to take a tour of the airstream, but I would prefer to stay in the dreamy white bedroom, make tea in the lovely kitchen, and sit on the dreamy porch. Okay? I'll see you there.
ReplyDeleteI'll bring the snacks!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, you love the kids around but school hols can be so exhausting! We are only 1/2 way through ours.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics. Always a fan of Byron xx
What a stunning home. It reminds me of my recent Fiji trip. Oh well, being back in freezing Melbourne's not too bad I 'spose.

Ah yes - very appealing!
ReplyDeleteEspecially love the look of the Little Palm guesthouse!
We're still enduring school holidays here - for another week! The combination of rain and a house full of active kids isn't great.. :) Though it is nice to have them around and I know I'll miss them when they go back next Tuesday..! The irony of it all.
Have a great week!

Hi Kerri,
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting Northern Light today, and for your sweet comment!
Looking forward to reading more about Driftwood Interiors. You Aussies have such a great design eye, very close to scandinavain style (with a little bit of the tropics), and this post even shows that, with a nod to denmark, non the less... great day for me to visit ;)
