...I thought I might have a go at starting a little blog of my own, after reading (and loving) so many others. And I'm so glad I did, because this little blog of mine has completely changed my life. I thought it might be fun to take a trip down memory lane, and re-visit some of my posts over the past year.
A constant theme has been painting - no surprises there. I've painted everything from my kitchen...
...nice huh? You can read the full story here if you missed it first time around.
...this mirror
you can see more of these larger works on canvas here and on my Facebook page
I've shared some of my favourite houses from around the world...
...but by far, the best thing over the past year has been meeting you all. It's been great to connect with so many fabulous, generous, like-minded souls, many of whom I now consider friends. Thank you for your company, your friendship, support and advice. You've made this adventure so much better than I could ever have imagined. And don't worry, I've got lots more planned for the next twelve months and beyond, including some big surprises I'm busting to spill the beans about (I'll finally be able to reveal all in the next week or so). Hope you stick around for the ride!
....a canvas or two
...furniture
...and of course, loads of new artwork
all these and more in my Etsy shop

ReplyDeleteKerri what a lovely journey you have had over the past 12 months! I am so glad you began blogging as you are so inspirational. And classy. Cheers to another 12 months...
ReplyDeleteHi Kerri
ReplyDeleteI am glad I can be the first to comment on your anniversary blog. It's because of you that I entered the blogoshere. Five months ago I googled 'Noosa Interiors' and your blog was what caught my eye in the search results. Now I have found a new love, that is akin to having a new boyfriend. I have had more loving out of this new world in 7 days, than I have had from Mr Beach House in seven years. So thank you for everyting. You have changed my life.
Best wishes Carolyn
Hi Kerri, I'm so glad I found your blog, your style and concept for your artwork is exactly (pretty close)to what I was going to go into for a business....before baby number two arrived. I still dabble a little in painting but now all my focus is on building up one of our business's Build4Cost. I would love to promote your work to our Brisbane clients.
ReplyDeleteI hope those pesky little gremlins get kicked into touch really soon...I've missed you! I think I may have already said happy blog birthday, but just in case I imagined that...consider it said very loudly and happily. You are a star :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your blogaversary Kerri! I have enjoyed your many (and varied) posts and look forward to all that you have planned for the next 12 months. ;)Sharyne
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a fabulous year Kerri! Nicolex
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Kerri! You are a creative genius. How amazing is your kitchen transformation? I did miss it the first time. But don't worry, you won't be able to get rid of me now. x
ReplyDeleteI love what you did to your kitchen Kerri. Did you have the cupboard dorrs professionally spray painted or do it yourself?
ReplyDeleteLove the colour on the walls of the kitchen. Can you share what it is please?
I've been so inspired by your Hamptons blog, it's finally given me inspiration for our house. Am now covered in white paint from painting every picture and photo frame in the house, heaps of knick knacks, a pine wash stand and a tiny cupboard. I've passed your blog on to several friends - one who's building a Hamptons style house overlooking Sydney Harbour. :-)

ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for your sweet comments. Meeting lovely people like you all has, by far, been the best part of blogging, so thank you for being such a wonderful part of it all.
ReplyDeleteCC - I sprayed my kitchen myself, with a Wagner spray gun. The wall colour is very similar to Dulux Ecru, but I haven't decided whether that will stay yet.
Thanks again everyone, and have a great week,
Kerri xx
I'm so glad I found your blog - I love it! It's exciting to see you reflect on a year of so much growth. I look forward to seeing so much more coming up!

I am assuming is in Brisbane because of the jacaranda to the right. Would you have the website bookmarked? I am totally in love with it and as we are about to build a beach house in Victoria, I would love it to look like it.
