House stalking

I have to say, it's been slim pickings lately in the real estate world. The recent slump has seen fewer homes coming onto the market, but I did manage to find this lovely weatherboard number in Glen Iris, Victoria. I'm a sucker for a pretty Edwardian cottage, so let's take a look around:

pretty, no?

You can check out the link here while it lasts.

  1. Despite the fact Glen Iris is smack bang in the middle of the suburbs - it has a quite a nice beachy feel to it & it's very well styled. Great find

  9. This has got Miss Millie's name all over it Kerri! The only issue would be the flight of steepish stairs going from the meals area down to the informal living room. I had a flash of myself sailing through the air having missed the first step entirely!

  18. Oh what a home... I could move there in a heart beat.... My bags are packed!
The kitchen! I will remember that one. The way that it is open to the back, love those windows. The light that comes in and well the view on to the pool. Could it get much better.

  21. Hi Kerri,
    Lovely post.
A great house, fresh, light and clean. Really good for Melbourne's sometimes very grey weather.
Yes slim pickings out there in real estate land but this one is a beauty. I would happily call it home, bet it won't last long in the given market.
    Have a good week.
    warm regards,
    Daryl
