I had an email from a lovely reader,
Steph, giving me the heads-up on a home she thought I might like. Well, she wasn't wrong - '
Ammamead' is a gorgeous, renovated Queenslander (my fave) set amongst rolling hills in the Byron hinterland. It embodies all of my favourite features - lots of white, that relaxed, beachy vibe, and a good helping of original art.
Oh, and what's more, it's available to
rent. How perfect would this place be for an extended family holiday? Plenty of room, stunning views, pool, and only minutes to the stunning beaches of Byron. Perfect!
I can never tire of looking at this house Kerri! ... such an inspiration ... thanks :-) Steph x
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely Kerri, feel like I would always be relaxed if I lived here :) Nicolex
ReplyDeleteOh you are cruel :) This just makes me want to accelerate my retirement plans!! Because I sure as heck couldn't afford the rent! It's very beautiful isn't it?
ReplyDeleteLove the acres of verandah.... just perfect. A x
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful, so open and spacious.
ReplyDeletePs - I have tagged you in a blog game if you want to play xx
Oh if only! what a gorgeous home! Perfectly designed for the setting and the pool looks so enticing! I may not be able to make it for a holiday, but in my mind I've already had a dip in the pool and for now, that will have to suffice!
ReplyDeleteX Briohny.
Oh that is a gorgeous home Kerri. I love the colour scheme and I really like that louvre window in the bathroom. How unusual to have the fire place as a room divider... hmmm.. don't mind it actually. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a dream that is!! All that entertaining space too, oh, so exciting to plan something similar, love Posie
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous. I love the verandahs and the bathroom. And that pool is magnificent. It would be a fabulous place to stay:)

ReplyDeleteAnother lovely home Kerri, I remember seeing this one in Home beautiful a while back, it was the cover house. How nice would it be to have a holiday in such a beautiful home, no cane lounge curse there!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG this has given me so many ideas for my own house that we will build in 12 mths. I love the Verandahs xx
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.. I am often scoping real-estate websites trying to find beauties such as this!
Gorgeous!! The porch is just amazing!!! We have houses by us that are on the lake that are available to rent during the winter season. I always thought it would be fun to "live" on the lake for a couple months!
