While doing a little blog surfing over the weekend, I stumbled upon the work of architects Sutton Suzuki. Nice, very nice indeed.

this plantation-style beauty in Kauai is my fave...but I suppose that comes as no surprise

By the way, the lovely Julie-Ann of the Decorating Forum will very kindly be featuring my blog all week. If you haven't already visited, the forum is the place to meet others interested in decorating, renovating and building. I'd love it if you'd pop on over and check it out....and say hi from me!

  2. I adore this home! I featured it a couple of months ago and if, I mean WHEN we build on Maui that would be ideal, the kitchen is so lovely!

  8. What an amazing home:). I visited Hawaii a few years ago and absolutely loved it. Our hotel on Maui was very new and had the same style of decor as this house. Just not quite as grand or luxurious. I loved the tropical feel but then using the dark wood finishes. Gorgeous:)
Oh thanks for mentioning the Decorating Forum- we do have lots of fun over there. I hope you all can join us sometime:)

  15. What a beautiful house. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry I haven't visited in a while - have been really busy with all my renos and market stuff. Have just had a wonderful time reading through your past posts. Thanks for the info on Staron - I hadn't heard of it before - would love to put it into my new bathrooms. As I am about to confirm my new tiles tomorrow (so they can be delivered next week) I think I may have left this a little bit late! Will have to remember it for the next house. Hope you are having a great week. Michelle

  17. Gorgeous homes.

I love that plantation-style home in Hawaii. Coincidentally, we have the same fan in our home. It's called the Islander by Fanimation.
